Western Colorado FCA Multi-Area Director, Tina Snover

Tina attended her first FCA high school huddle as a freshman at Annandale High School in No. Virginia in 1991, then attended FCA camp and hasn’t stopped since.  Her FCA huddle and camp experiences gave her the strength to live a teenage Christian life during her high school years and beyond.  Although only 16 years old at the time, she appeared on the Phil Donahue Show in New York City, to participate on a panel entitled, “One minute of Silence in Public Schools.”  Tina defended the right to pray in school and this interview became the foundation for her bold love for God and her life-long journey with FCA. Virginia’s Sweet Briar College later recruited Tina to play soccer and she graduated in 1999 with a B.A. in Psychology & an Elem. ED Certificate. She was an All-Conference Women’s Soccer player in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference & served on summer staff with FCA. Summer of 1998 Tina was a member of the Lady Charlotte Eagles Soccer Team and got to compete in Sweden and in the Czech Republic. After college, she began working full time for FCA in Northern VA in May 1999.  There, she served as an Area Rep. for over 75 huddles.  As FCA was rapidly growing west of Fairfax & Arlington Counties, she was asked to become the first Area Director for Prince William & Fauquier Counties in 2001.  This step paid off in multiple ways, but most importantly it led to Tina meeting David, her husband who was serving as an FCA Huddle Coach. They were married in June of 2002 and started off their marriage serving at various FCA camps all summer.  Tina served on FCA staff until 2006 when their first daughter was born. The Lord lead them to Grand Junction in 2012 and Tina returned to FCA staff part time in Jan. 2014 and then full time again in Feb. 2015.  It has been an amazing experience thus far and God continues to lay a strong foundation for a great ministry of community impact here in the Grand Valley.  Tina continues to also coach soccer and deeply believes in the power a coach has in the lives of his/her players. David serves as a Physician’s Assistant with Monument Orthopedics & Sports Trauma Clinic in Fruita, CO. He continues to fully support and love FCA.  David & Tina have two awesome daughters: Brenae ('06) and Lizzie ('09) who also love Jesus and sports.  They enjoy soccer, volleyball, basketball and skiing.

Ricky lives outside of Crawford, Colorado with his wife, Brandy, and two children. Ricky and Brandy, both have a sports background as she ran track and cross country at Dallas Baptist University and then later worked in public relations for the Texas Rangers baseball club. Campus Director at Colorado Mesa University, Nate Robertson

My name is Nate Robertson, and I will serve Fellowship of Christian Athletes as the full time campus director at Colorado Mesa University. I am a local kid to the western slope, as I was born in Delta, CO and later moved to Montrose, CO where I spent the rest of my childhood. I attended Montrose High School all four years and after my senior year was recruited to play baseball for the Mavericks at Colorado Mesa University. I attended CMU for three years until I was blessed with a childhood dream of playing professional baseball. After my junior year at CMU I was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 27th round of the 2014 Major League Draft and played two season with the Hillsboro Hops a single A club, located in Hillsboro, OR. After two amazing years with the Diamondbacks I realized that this was not God’s plan for my life and left the game of baseball. I returned to CMU to finish my undergrad and coach as an assistant baseball coach at CMU. I graduated from CMU in the spring of 2016, and was offered a graduate assistant program at CMU in the athletic department. I accepted this opportunity and started as a graduate assistant for the CMU athletic department August 1st, 2016. During the summer transition, after graduating from CMU in 2016, I was blessed to meet my beautiful wife Jamie, and just this past June was able to marry the love of my life! I currently, just finished up my Master’s program at CMU as a grad assistant/ assistant baseball coach. It has truly been a blessing to look back and see how God has molded and shaped me to the man I am today through various life and career transitions. I look forward to coming on staff as a campus director at CMU and am excited to be used by God for kingdom! Colorado Mesa University is a thriving university and I am thrilled to watch God move on this campus through the ministry of FCA.

.

Four Corners Area Representative, Taylor Moore

Growing up in Southern Colorado, I have experienced how sports can change students lives, but I have also seen the need for these athletes to have a higher motivation. My mission is to share God’s love with the Four Corners Area coaches, athletes, and community through the sports and outdoor activities that already bond us together. Sports and the relationships that they bring have been a huge driving factor in my life, leading me to this opportunity to share the good news of God, His promise, and His grace. I am so appreciative of the resources and prayer that you are providing to help God’s vision come alive in the Four Corners Area.
